STUDENTS SAVING OUR THEATRES INITIATIVE
The Students Saving our Theatres, is an initiative set up by students of Warwick University to raise money for theatres that face financial difficulties, or the possibility of closure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The arts are receiving very little help, so projects like these are so vital. The Student Workshop aims to expose students to the real theatre industry and act as a stepping stone into future careers, therefore we believe it is so vital we are doing everything we can to support theatres at this uncertain time. The Student workshop alongside the other Performing Arts societies and Dance society will be taking part in weekly challenges set by Students Saving our Theatres and you can join us too! After the 5 weeks of challenges there will then be a scratch night which you can apply for now! After all of this, the funds will be split between each unis selected theatres, saving our local theatres. All links to the initiatives information, ways of getting involved, donating and signing petitions will be available to you on this website!
