The Student Lock Festival

The Student Lock Festival is an exciting new festival showcasing the best original productions being created by young, up and coming artists. The works that will be performed this year have been chosen to celebrate young female artists. All are about women, by women, for women.

Alongside engaging with intersectional feminism, the performances aim to effectively comment on our current socio-political climate. Whilst also exploring innovative performance techniques, in order to highlight their stance on issues that effect women in an affective way.

The Student Lock Festival is unique, as the first student festival to feature original shows created by solely university drama students. This, therefore, acts as a debut for the work of soon-to-be professional artist’s. This makes The Student Lock Festival the site to discover the artists of the future, whilst watching the highest quality student work.

The Student Lock Festival will be held at Camden People’s Theatre on 5th June 2017.

There will be three shows performed starting at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00.

Each performance is ticket at £7 and will last 45 minuets, with a 15 minute break between each show.

Tickets will be on sale on the Camden People’s Theatre website closer to the date of the festival. A link will be posted to purchase tickets when this is available.
